Season 1 is about Clay Jensen finding the cassette tapes. The cassette tapes is about how Hanna Baker commits suicide. All persons who receive the tapes seems like the reason why Hannah Baker kill herself. The distribution of the tapes have an order and it depends on the person gets it if he want to pass it to another. And the series ends conducting an investigation regarding to the incident happen.
Like the other movies or series season 1 of "13 reason's why" receives also praise and criticism. Praise because of great portrayal of the cast specially Katherine Langford who was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series at the Golden Globe Award. However, this series receives also criticism from mental heath professionals because of the content of the series like suicide and rape. For me the story has it very unique way to send its message to the viewers. Using of the cassette tapes i think is the reason why it captures the interest and attention of the viewers. Aside from that suicidal attempts it is timely and usually students are the subject to it. The series try to send to us the real culprit to the said topic. And who to blame to the incident. I hope everyone see that and have an open mind.
